    * Monetary value on food is difficult to determine.  This figure represents the purchased items obtained from the Houston Food Bank and area grocery stores.  These figures DO NOT include the tons of donated food received annually.  Money is NEVER given directly to clients, only to the provider of services (medical, utilities, rent or fuel).

These monetary figures do not include the very low overhead of Christian Helping Hands. Using the Daily Log, past reports and the Guidelines, numbers were applied to determine the monetary assistance provided by Christian Helping Hands’ volunteers.  Thanks to many generous people, churches and businesses, who have made voluntary donations, IT’S A MIRICLE!!!
